The Pint and Project - Scottish Project Manager Network - 1st June, Glasgow
The "Pint and Project" is a networking event open to practising project, programme and portfolio managers. Attendees can expand their network, share best practices, get updates on the job market and hear from leading professionals working in Scotland today.
After feedback from the last event and also the PRINCE2 Scotland group on LinkedIn our latest event, in Glasgow on 1st June, had a speaker then pub format.
The main speaker was Ursula Pretsch on "Project Managing the Dream" Ursula was a senior PM with the Scottish Courts Service when she decided to take time out and travel round the world. She managed 4 continents, 4 diaries and 9,362 photographs in an experience that most people put off until retirement - and then never achieve.
Along the way Ursula relied on her project management skills of planning, cost control and change management to get through some tricky situations!
